I’m really excited about the wreath that’s on our door this year for the holidays because it’s simple, pretty, and Christmas-y all in one.
Last year, we had a more traditional wreath with the greens, a bow, etc., but this year I wanted something a little less red-white-and-gold and a little more winter-ish. The best part was that it took me about five minutes to make, so this is definitely a good project for anyone looking to simplify their Christmas decor to-do list. First, I grabbed a pre-made wreath from a yard sale (they also sell these at craft stores).
Next, it got a fresh coat of “snow”… aka. white spray paint.
From there, I took a few clippings from our tree, arranged them the way I wanted, and attached them to the side of the wreath with a twist tie.
Finally, I used a glue gun to attach a few sparkly red berries I found in our Christmas box (also available at any craft store, but if you dig around the Christmas decorations that you have, you might find you have something you could use!).
The last step is to hang it up and admire the view!
How’s that for an easy Christmas wreath? Simple is good in this life, people. Simple is good. 🙂
