    Dear Leslie and Mitch,
Congratulations on your new little baby! She is adorable. I’m so sorry you have to go through all of this uncertainty with Kamri’s health. I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like for you to have to deal with all of this frustration and emotional struggle as new parents. But trusting in God and knowing through Jesus, he is not the cause, but the healer of all problems is a sure thing, and I know your strong faith will see you through. I will surely keep Kamri, both of you, and your families in my prayers, as Kamri keeps improving. Wishing Kamri, you, and your families God’s blessings! Love, Missy

Still praying daily for all three of you to come through this whole and happy. Thank you for the updates, and for your incredible attitude of hope, that in itself is a blessing Know that your little girl knows that she has the gift of your love , which is all any of us can ask for and something not all of us get. She is blessed, and so are you. Our prayer is simple,, repeated often during the day : Dear God, restore this family to health and happiness starting now.

I was reading about your journey together as a parent. Looking at her picture and looking at you two I questioned “WHY?” I am a parent myself. Recently I have been through some hard challenges myself regarding my daughter who is 25 yrs old now. My husband and I had sleepless nights. She is okay now. I told my friends to pray for her and God answered to our prayers. I believe in prayers and I will pray for your little bundle of joy. I am a Hindu by my faith but I believe GOD is only one.

Tomorrow is our monthly prayer to Lord Satyanarayana at the temple. I will tell our priest to pray for this little angel. Tonight I am offering my own prayers for her. I am telling you to have faith and strength. You will see happier days with your baby soon. God bless you all.

    Hi Leslie and Mitch

I work with Fran and I want you to know that I am in frequent prayer for you and Kamri. Your daughter is such a precious gift – I was fortunate as you are to have a precious daughter born on December 28, 24 years ago. She was 5 weeks premature and by the grace of God is doing great!

    God is good!
    Blessings
    Cathy

You two are amazing in your strength. Know that your daughter comes from tough stock! Thank you so much for sharing this extremely difficult time in your lives. I am continuing to pray as often and as hard as I can for restoration of health and happiness to your family. I so want to see that little one smile and give her a hug next time we are all at Brian and Jody’s! And in the meantime…..spiritual hugs to you all!

i pray God grant you continued strength and wisdom for this coming time, I pray you find comfort in the love from your family and friends who surround you. I pray you find joy and peace in the love you have bestowed upon your daughter, she is so blessed by that. And if God will grant the miracle we have all been praying and hoping for, may he do it now.
    God Bless you all.

Today will have been the hardest day of your life. I so admire your bravery, your strength and your faith

It is a wise man or woman who knows when it is time to let go and let God.

There is a prayer that I feel suits this day, If I may share it with you:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I pray God grant you peace in the knowledge that you are the most loving of parents. I am awed by your generosity of spirit, and thankful that you have shared this entire experience with all of us out here. I hope some comfort has come your way from us.

    God Bless

    Dear Leslie and Mitch,
I am a long time friend of your parents and have been following your travels with Kamri with sorrow but also with amazing love and hope. She was given to you, although for a short time, with purpose. God does not make mistakes – Kamri was put in your arms for a purpose. She has inspired many and brought many to Him. You are also an inspiration and He is continuing to use you to glorify Him. May God continue to bless you.

    • Leslie | 22nd Jan 17

I remember you so fondly from our trip to visit awhile back. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement, Luellen. ❤️

I am Phyllis Falcone’s sister and have been following your family’s lives since Kamri arrived in December. I am currently knee deep in costuming our spring musical and hardly have time to smile some days, but today for some reason, while I was sewing, I felt a nudge to check my email, so begrudgingly, I got up, went over to the computer and checked it. There was a prayer request from our pastor (Bellevue Presbyterian in Gap Pa) asking for prayer for one of his pastor friends from Presbytery who’s one month old son passed away suddenly last evening. My heart was broken once again for parents experiencing the loss of a child. It reminded me to pray for you and Mitch again, and for the journey you continue to be on. It is my prayer that you will take the time to grieve, to let your heart feel the pain, and don’t worry about what anyone else thinks is the perfect amount of time to grieve. This is your time. I know it is difficult to imagine right now, but Joy will come in the morning. Your life will never be the same as it was before Kamri’s birth, but it will still be your life, and it will be good. Your faith has already made a huge impact on people’s lives, including my own and my daughter Sarah’s. Sarah is 16 and has experienced some major (not good) changes in our church youth program and with our prior youth pastor. She has struggled with God because of it. You and your husband’s faith has been an amazing example and beacon of light for her. It helps that she loves babies of course and that Kamri was so absolutely adorable in all the photos you posted! Again, I will continue to pray for you to feel God’s presence through this valley, and that you will come out on the other side and be able to truly feel the Joy that comes in the morning!

    • Leslie | 16th Feb 17

Susan, thank you so much for your kind and insightful words. We so appreciate the prayers and will be praying for both the family that lost their son, as well as your daughter. Please tell her “thank you” from us as well… and that God will walk with her through every single season of her life, both good and bad. That, she can be assured of. ❤

Leslie, just wanted you and Mitch to know that I continue to pray for you daily. Kamri’s life is still impacting so many, me included. Prayers for continued healing and God’s peace.
