Dad…

I wonder where I’d be if you weren’t my dad. Probably stranded on the road somewhere with no idea why my car is making funny noises. You’ve always come and rescued me… thank you for being my hero. You’ve had my back since Day 1.

Father's Day

I think real heroes are underestimated. They put out life’s fires and care for others all of the time, but in most cases, they don’t get recognized. I’ve been lucky enough to have a hero who not only put out my fires, but taught me how to put out my own too.

Heroes do little things. They enjoy life with the people around them. You are a great example of that- you taught us how to enjoy life.

Father's Day

You taught me how to work hard. How to solve problems and think of creative solutions. There has never been a situation where I doubted that you wouldn’t figure out what to do. I’ve been watching your work ethic and ability to handle tough situations for awhile now… what you didn’t know was how well you prepared me for doing it on my own someday. You’re a great teacher, Dad. I will never stop looking up to you.

Father's Day

We’ve always been pals… thanks for hanging out with me.

Father's Day

For coaching my soccer teams until I graduated from High School. Thanks for dancing with me. Way back when…

Father's Day

And virtually every time a song comes on. We’ll be grooving to the Oldies until we can’t walk anymore. And I look forward to that. 🙂

Father's DayYou taught us how to have fun.

Father's Day

How to be cool…

Father's Day

And that it’s always okay to laugh. Even during family pictures (though apparently, Beau didn’t get the memo).

Father's Day

I love you, Dad. You’ve given me more that you will ever know and I couldn’t imagine a world without you. Thanks for being you… my hero.
