Snow Tubing (2016)!

Talking about snow and other winter-y things is a sure way to lose friends these days. It seems like everyone is ready for spring! I have to be honest… while I am a huge fan of snow and all things winter, I am also ready for warm weather and sunny days. For some reason, this year I am pining for flip flops and sitting by the water when usually I’m the one praying for one last blizzard. 🙂

It’s crazy to think that just a month ago, it was FREEZING outside and we were bundling up for a day on the slopes! Time really does fly by and I find myself scrambling to capture the moments that we’ll want to remember some day. As fast as our lives seem to go by, I’m always so grateful when we manage to freeze (har, har) those experiences, those memories.

This day at Blue Mountain was such fun. COLD AS ICE, but a great day. And actually, in the end we were really thankful for the chill because it kept the crowds at bay and we were able to ride all morning with no lines!

We tried it all- group tubing, individual tubes, and of course… a little boy vs. girl action. Here’s the guy squad:

Something I’m finding… I love home videos. So much. They capture where we’re at in a moment in time. They remind me that it’s totally worth it to pause and snap a picture or take a quick video to remember the bits and pieces that make up our life. After all, it was a pretty awesome day… one that I’m hoping to remember for a long time!
